We kicked off 2010 by signing a deal with Japanese record label SPINNING that will allow us to release “Nothing Left To Lose” in Japan on March 3rd!  We’re extremely excited!  The news of our album release has been bouncing around the top 3 ranked news articles at music retail giant HMV’s website – staying at #1 for the majority of the time for the past week and a half.  CLICK HERE to pre-order the album at HMV.

SPINNING (click here for label roster) will re-package “Nothing Left To Lose,” using existing artwork and adding a lot more artwork, liner notes, English lyrics, Japanese lyrics, CAPs, etc. for the Japanese Import version of “Nothing Left To Lose”.  The “Nothing Left To Lose” Japanese Import CD will also include “Killer Inside” as the Japanese bonus track.  These collectible “Nothing Left To Lose” Japanese Import CDs will be available in the U.S. through the Hydrovibe Store in March.  We’ll let you know as soon as we get them, but you can pre-order directly from HMV right now.

Fourteen years ago this week, Shannon Hoon died in New Orleans, and in honor of a very talented band Hydrovibe decided to record an acoustic cover of their song “Sleepyhouse.”  Back in Louisiana, before Hydrovibe relocated to LA, Heather and Mat used to perform acoustic sets – often incorporating covers including this one.  So, it’s only fitting that Hydrovibe release this freebie to their fans on this anniversary of a talented musician’s death.
